About Us

Since our founding, the Augsburg Lions have played a key role in shaping the flag football culture in Augsburg. As a non-contact form of American football, we want to make flag football accessible to everyone. Whether you are just starting out or are an experienced player, we support you in playing sport with fun and passion. We show how you can experience sport together through open interaction with one another.

We now have four teams in the DFFL, DFFLF, Regionalliga Bayern and DFFLF 2, in which everyone can find a place. Our successes speak for themselves: 3rd place in the German championship with the DFFL team and university champions in 2023 with our university team. Everyone is welcome here, because we stand for tolerance, acceptance, respect and appreciation and actively live these values.
