WELCOME TO THE AUGSBURG LIONS!

Welcome to the Augsburg Lions! We play Flag Football since 2018, founded ourselves as an independent club in 2022, and are now the only pure Flag Football club in Augsburg and the surrounding area.

Our roots lie in the still active university sports at the University of Augsburg, but our development now aligns with the equally rapidly growing German Flag Football League, in which we can confidently count ourselves among the most successful clubs.

Not only do we host one of Germany's largest competitive leagues with 2 Mixed and 2 FLINTA* teams, but also one of the most successful: While our first Mixed team repeatedly placed in the top 4 of the DFFL out of a field of over 200 teams, our women's team has even been crowned German champions every year since the DFFLF was established in 2024 and currently competes against Europe's top teams.

The FFC Augsburg Lions e.V. continues to strive for growth of the club and the sport, competitive participation at the top of both German and European competitions, as well as meaningful, progressive and friendly club work right in the heart of Augsburg.
